As a Linux Foundation Collaborative Project, the OpenAPI Initiative aims to create an open source, technical community where industry participants may easily contribute to and adopt the project’s technology and focus on creating, evolving and promoting a vendor neutral description format known as the OpenAPI Specification (formerly known as the Swagger Specification).

The OpenAPI Initiative is committed to creating a structure to invest resources in growing the community, continuing to extend the technology, and providing a collaboration hub for sharing and best practices.

If you are interested in becoming a member or getting updates on the technical developments of the spec, please complete the form below and you will be contacted shortly. We will also include you on our regular newsletter mailing list so you can keep up to date on new features and opportunities to collaborate with the OpenAPI Initiative.
