SUMMARY:apidays London 2023
DESCRIPTION:apidays London September 2023\nPost Event Report\n\n\nSummary\nThis was the first “OAI Track” that was organized by an OAI as a partner with openapis. There are two follow-up events rather soon (Australia in October and Paris in December). The event went very well\, we had a good program\, the room was at capacity\, and we had good feedback from people at the event and online. Erik Wilde initiated his role of OpenAPI ambassador to lead partner engagements. \nErik posted a few updates on social media leading into the event\, including an interview with Mehdi Medjaoui and one with Mike Amundsen. There were various other activities as well\, a complete list can be found in the “API Days London 2023 Social Posts” document. \nThe introductory track presentation combined some history\, a brief presentation and explanation of OAI\, a brief look at the specs under development\, and an outlook at the development of OpenAPI 4.0. The other presentations focused on analyzing OpenAPI documents (José)\, how to use OpenAPI in API landscapes (Lorna)\, and the upcoming workflows specification that augments OpenAPI (Frank). \n\nErik Wilde – OAI Track Introduction and the State of OpenAPI\nJosé Haro Peralta – Secure by Design: Leveraging OpenAPI for Security and Reliability\nVideo of Jose’s presentation\nLorna Mitchell – API Governance Without Tears\nFrank Kilcommins – The API Workflows Specification: The Missing Piece of the API puzzle\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nContact Information\nFor any questions about the OAI Track\, please contact oai-track@openapis.org.
